The solar scope
Making room for
the roof replacement.
The existing solar array occupied two areas of this Yukon home’s roof. Replacing the shingles meant coordinating the solar removal, the roofing work and the panel reinstallation.
Affordable Solar handled the solar removal and reinstallation for this roof replacement. The reset design arranged the 19 panels in two groups: thirteen across the larger roof area and six beside it.
The August 22 photos show both groups mounted on the replacement roof, with the chimney and roof vents clear of the panels.
